  2. Every state has its own government with a Governor as the figurehead, while every Union Territory is administered directly by President through an Administrator appointed by him.
  3. The Governor of every state is appointed by President of India
  4. The Chief Minister is the Read Head of the State Government
  5. Every state has a Council of Ministers to aid and advise the Governor in the exercise of their functions.
  6. The Council of Ministers is collectively responsible to Vidhan Sabha ( State Legislative Assembly)
