Eligibility Criteria for GADVASU Vacancy 2016

Educational Qualification for GADVASU Vacancy 2016: 

Dean, College  of Veterinary Science: B.V.Sc. and A.H./B.V.Sc, at least 2nd division with Ph.D. in any branch  of Veterinary and Animal Science. 12 years experience in teaching/ research/extension out of which 5 years  must be as professor or its equivalent.

Director of Research :  Ph.D in any branch of Veterinary  and  Animal Science. 12 years experience in teaching/research/extension out of which  five years must be as professor or equivalent.

Deputy Director: Ph.d degree in field  of Agriculture/ Horticulture/Veterinary Science/Animal Sciences/Fisheries/Agricultural Engineering/Home Science/ Agro-Forestry.  Master’s degree in the relevant  discipline with OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00 or 65% marks.  And Eight years experience in teaching/research/extension education in  the relevant area at the level of Asstt. Professor  or equivalent (The period spent in obtaining Ph.D degree will not be counted as research experience).

Clerk:  Graduate from  recognized University and possesses at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in use of personal computer or information technology in office  productivity application  Or Desktop publishing applications from a government recognized institution or a reputed Instt.

Driver :  Candidates should  be at least Graduate, must  possess a driving licence for driving heavy duty and light vehicle followed by at least five  years experience in driving, repairs etc. in the Government Department or Registered Transport Company.

Mortem Attendant:  Diploma in veterinary science and animal health technology with knowledge of carcass handling  and performing post mortem examination.  A person should have knowledge of Punjabi upto English standard.

Chowkidar : Applicants  should  be 10+2  with good physique and knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level.

Sweeper : Must have passed Middle and having  knowledge of Punjabi.

Age Limit:  The age limit for posts Driver, Clerk, Post Mortem Attendant, Chowkidar and Sweeper is 18 years to 37 years as on 1/1/2016.  The relaxation  of upper age limit will  be available  as per Punjab Government.

Application fee for GADVASU Vacancy :

Applicants are required to pay fee of Rs.2000/- for Serial No. 01 to 03 and Rs.1000/- for  No. 04 and Rs.300/- for Sr. No. 05, to 08 through  demand draft in favour of  Comptroller GADVASU payable at Ludhiana.
